Have someone select a card from the middle, look at it, and place it back on top of the deck.Cut the deck once, which places the blue card directly on top of their selected red card. Tell a story about how a chameleon changes its skin when it senses danger. Spread the cards face down across the table. A single blue card will stand out vividly against the sea of red. Pull the blue card out, turn it over, and it will be the spectator’s exact selection. To finish the illusion, place the card back in the deck, give it a gentle tap, and show that it has camouflaged itself right back into a normal red card by using a quick card substitution or simply tucking it away.
